Some lineup.
Normal People’s Paul Mescal will be joining Ryan Tubridy on tonight’s Late Late Show, finally giving us something to look forward to this weekend.
The Kildare actor will be in the studio to chat about the new hit BBC show, shooting Sally Rooney’s novel adaptation, and the sex scenes that have somehow caused controversy among Ireland’s conservative population.
The new series has proven to be wildly popular among the majority of people who have praised it for its accurate representation of intimacy and of course, the stellar performances of both Mescal and co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will also be landing in to give an update on the current Covid-19 situation, where the country is in terms of virus rates, and what will likely happen after May 5.
Picture This will be dropping by to discuss their recent support of children’s hospice The LauraLynn Foundation. They’ll also be singing a few of their tunes live in the studio, while Toy Show star Tom Cullen will be giving an update on how life has been while his Nanny Pat has been cocooning.
Later, Laois couple Niall and Aisling Donoher will share the story of their campaign to raise €2m for their one year old son Dan to receive life-saving treatment, and how the community spirit they experienced help them to reach their goal.
Elsewhere, members of the GAA community including Evanne Ní Chuilinn, Henry Sheflin, Aidan O’Shea and Kieran Donagh will be chatting about how sport has played a massive role in keeping spirits high during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Late Late Show airs tonight at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
