Are Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott set to split?
Former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson is reportedly having ‘crisis talks’ with his long-term girlfriend Zara McDermott.
The pair, who have had their fair share of ups and downs, have been together since 2019 but reports claim their relationship is in trouble.
According to The Sun, the pair had an explosive row recently and are now trying to mend their relationship.
Sources close to the pair claimed that recent work commitments drove a wedge between Sam and Zara.
It is understood that the pair have been experiencing relationship issues since Christmas.
“Since Christmas Zara and Sam have been really busy with work and have had little quality time to see each other and as a result their relationship has suffered.
“They’ve both wanted to make the most of their careers and say yes to all the exciting opportunities offered to them,” they added.
The source stressed that they both want to work on the relationship.
“Last weekend it came to a head and they had a big row. It was very upsetting and they needed some time to let the dust settle,” they revealed.
Zara recently praised Sam in a moving Instagram post and told her followers about how much she loves the reality star.
Alongside a red carpet photo, she gushed: “I don’t say this enough, but seeing him on the red carpet interviewing some VERY cool people made me so proud!
“As much as you love to have a laugh and joke around, the reality is you are just amazing at what you do… you have an infectious ability to make everyone laugh and smile, and the amount of people who came up to me to tell me how amazing you are is a true testament to you and your beautiful energy.”
She added, “You are my superstar even though you don’t believe it yourself sometimes. Love you so much.”
Zara and Sam first started dating in 2019 after connecting on Instagram.
