Prince Harry has a complicated relationship with his family

According to reports, the royals are not informing the dad-of-two because they do not trust him enough.

There are concerns that personal health details could be leaked to the media or public.

A source told The Sun: "There’s no way that The King or Prince William would share details of the cancer treatment with Harry.

"They simply don’t trust him and would fear that anything they told him about Charles or Catherine would end up in the public domain, either in the press or on a podcast or social media," they added.

It is believed their relationship is beyond repair after the last few years.

Prince Harry has been incredibly critical of both the monarchy and his family since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020.

The source added: "We all know how bad relations have got in the last couple of years.

"I’m afraid it’s going to take a very long time before there’s any chance of a reconciliation.

"If Harry feels left out and sidelined I’m afraid that’s his own fault. Harry might be heartbroken not to hear from his family but he only has himself to blame," they added.

The Princess of Wales was diagnosed with a form of cancer in early 2024.

King Charles was also diagnosed in January 2024.

They are both undergoing treatment for cancer, but details have been kept under wraps.
