Vanessa Hudgens is officially a mum
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has welcomed her first child.
The new mum was photographed leaving the hospital with her newborn baby cradled in her arms.
This is Vanessa’s first child with her husband Cole Tucker.
She announced her pregnancy at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar’s After Party.
Speaking about her first pregnancy, a source close to Hudgens said she’s excited for a new part of her life.
They told US Weekly, “[Cole] treats her better than any guy she has been with. They are in a really good place. With marriage and a baby, she is ready for the next phase of life.”
Before announcing her pregnancy, Hudgens slated the public for speculating about her family plans.
She was hit with waves of pregnancy speculation but fans were quick to defend her and stressed that she does not owe it to her fans to tell them when she’s pregnancy.
The Princess Switch star was quick to shut down the rumours and asked her fans to stop speculating.
“Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” she wrote.
Fans of the actress said she did not have to tell people if she was pregnant or not. Annoucing a pregnancy is your own personal private business and something you should only ever do when you’re ready.
