Lady Rose Hanbury, the former best friend of Kate Middleton is hitting headlines
Kate Middleton has been the main topic of newspaper headlines and in our group chats recently, but another person has been cropping up in conversations this week.
Lady Sarah Rose Hanbury has been mentioned as theories about Kate’s absence continue to circulate online. The 39-year-old has strong ties to the royals with her maternal grandmother, Lady Elizabeth Lambert, was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II.
Her family have links to the royals, but Rose also shares strong connections with the senior members of the family. Rose ran in the same social circles as Prince William and Princess Catherine, but they reportedly grew apart over time.
Back in 2019, The Prince of Wales was accused of cheating on Kate Middleton with her best friend Rose Hanbury.

The alleged affair happened during Kate’s third pregnancy, but those involved have never addressed the claims. Kate reportedly urged William to distance himself from Rose, according to US Weekly.
Despite the rumours, the pair have put on a united front in the years since the claims first arose.

An insider told US Weekly that they want to ensure their children grow up with stability.
“It’s not unusual to have a few hiccups in a marriage, especially after eight years, and Kate and William are no different. They’re still going strong. Regardless of their ups and downs, they love each other dearly and their kids are the most important thing in their lives.”
The story has resurfaced online following Kate’s planned abdominal surgery and her absence from public life.
The silence from Kensington Palace, as well as the edited photo of Kate and her children are now leading people to believe the affair claims are true.
However, it is unlikely royals will address them publically.
Palace officials have only stressed that Kate will return to public duties after Easter.
