Singer Olly Murs has spoken about girlfriend Francesca Thomas for the first time.
The couple, who began dating in 2012 after meeting at V Festival, have managed to keep their relationship out of the public eye for the most part.
“I want my girlfriend to have a normal life and normal friends. I don’t want her to be sucked into this lifestyle. I know how hard it is for other celebrities and their families” Olly told The Sun.

“If at any point she wanted to walk away because she couldn’t handle the stress, then I would understand” Olly said during an interview with the newspaper.
Thirty-year-old Olly first rose to fame on the X Factor and went on to have a successful career.
His new album, Never Been Better, is set for a release date in November and features a track called Let Me In, which Olly co-wrote with musician Paul Weller.
