Jersey Shore star Snooki has confirmed she is expecting her second child with fiancé Jionni LaValle. Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, revealed the news in a post on her website this week and expressed her anger that information on the new baby had been leaked to the media without their consent. "Unfortunately, like my first pregnancy, I decided to tell a select few people that we were expecting before the third month mark, and it got leaked to certain media outlets. Again, it has happened with my second. I just want to say how thrilled we are on expecting our second child and we couldn’t be any happier. But what sucks is how it’s never our business to tell anymore," she said. "It’s always certain media that decide to tell our wonderful news before we are ready. I get it, we are on a reality show and share 98 per cent of our lives to our fans, but with this particular situation, with expecting a child has to be announced from us personally, not by some tabloid headline trying to make a quick buck. It’s not that we want to keep it a secret, but we want to share our business at the right time." She continued to hit out at anyone who had commented negatively on her pregnancy and relationship, saying "I’m a momma bear and I will stick up for my family until the day I die, and even after that".
