400 people have complained to the BBC after Rita Ora appeared on The One Show wearing a low-cut trouser suit.
The singer, who recently joined the panel of the Voice UK, appeared on Monday’s show alongside fellow judges Ricky Wilson, will.i.am and Tom Jones.
Rita chose to wear a low-cut white blazer with matching trousers and viewers were not impressed by her outfit choice.
One person wrote on the BBC Point of Message board: “Isn’t it about time the BBC had a dress code? I do not want to see her boobs hanging out on a family programme. I find it quite disgraceful”.
The One Show issued a Facebook apology yesterday writing: “We’re sorry to those of you who were offended by Rita Ora’s choice of outfit on yesterday’s show.
“If we had been consulted on it we would have requested she wore something more suitable for 7pm”.
Media watchdog Ofcom also received 28 complaints about Rita’s outfit and a spokesperson said the criticisms are currently being assessed.
Earlier in the day, Rita was dressed in a plunging blue gown for the launch of the Voice UK 2015.
This year’s series starts on Saturday on BBC at 7pm.
