Adele says she is ready to end her self-imposed drinking ban

Adele is all of us when she drinks red wine.

The singer revealed that her detox from drinking has been 'boring' but something she cut out of her diet, along with caffeine.

During one of her performances at Las Vegas' Colosseum Caesar Palace, the 35-year-old announced she is ready to end her ban as she enters her residency break and the Christmas holidays.

"I’m just going to chill. I’m annoyed as well that I’m sick because this is red wine weather.” I stopped drinking, but obviously, now I’m ready to start again because it is my break.

"And I can’t drink red wine ever when I’m singing because I don’t know about you, but red wine f**s me up. I cannot handle it. I’m 35 going on 85,” she joked.

Adele admits she has to cut her white wine with ice and sparkling water to hopefully limit her hangovers.

"And I still get f****d. But a glass of red wine tips me over the edge. I have the worst hangover, my whole mouth and tongue turns red.

"I look like a disaster and it just gets rid of my voice. So I was planning on drinking a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape this week, but now I can’t because I am sick."

Everything she said was truly relatable until she mentioned the bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which would set you back anywhere between €38 to €110, depending on the brand.

Adele's break ends on January 19th, 2024 when she resumes the second leg of her Las Vegas residency until June 15th, 2024.

Cheers to Adele, she's certainly earned a drink!
