Gordon Ramsay has spoken to reporters about what it has been like to have a new baby at the age of 57.

The world-famous chef recently welcomed his sixth child with Tana, his wife of 27 years.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Ramsay said the experience has been an amazing experience.

He told the news outlet that it has been “really extraordinary” and that he feels “blessed”.

“I’m also sure I’ll be the oldest dad at the drop-off at school,” he joked, before adding “so I’ll keep my cap and glasses on”.

Earlier this month, Gordon confirmed to fans on his Instagram that he and Tana had safely welcomed a baby boy, named Jesse James.

“What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper. One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done,” he wrote.

Tana later shared a similar post, adding in images of their new bundle of joy meeting his older brother, Oscar.

“It’s been a nerve wracking 9 months but we’ve made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle,” Tana wrote in her caption.

“Ramsay family definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much.”

Gordon and Tana, 49, are also parents to five other children; daughter Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23, daughter Matilda, 22, and son Oscar, 4.
