Tried and tested: I got my eyebrows laminated, and I’m absolutely weak for myself now

Okay, I’m obsessed.

In the last few years, eyebrow grooming has become SUCH a thing.

There are HD brows, henna brows, microblading, tweezing, threading, waxing, and countless other ways to get the brow of your dreams.

However lads, there’s a new kid on the block, and it might be the best brow treatment yet.

Eyebrow lamination is a brand new semi-permanent beauty trend, and people are going mad for it.

Myself included.

The treatment works in a similar way to a lash lift, and is designed to open up your eyes.

A few weeks back I saw it popping up all over social media, and I decided to find out what all the hype was about.

So I gave the lovely ladies in The Loft South William Street a call, and arranged to pop in to try the treatment.

The process essentially involves straightening eyebrow hairs using a chemical solution, so that they all stand in the desired direction.

The result is a bushier, more defined yet natural-looking brow with little to no maintenance.

There is also a little tint is added at the end to give the brow the fullest effect.

And lads, the results are so freakin’ good!

So, the treatment takes about an hour in full, from the minute you lie down to the minute you hop up.

The first step involves a product being placed on the eyebrows, while the hairs are brushed up. Then they’re covered in clingfilm and left for ten minutes.

That’s removed, and the same process occurs again with a different solution.

After that, the tint was added and left to work while my brows were being waxed.

Et voila, big bushy brows (Cara Delevingne, come at me!)

The aftercare is very simple and nothing mad – no water near the brows for 24 hours after the treatment. Simples.

Lamination brows typically last 6-8 weeks and can be topped up with a tint in-between treatments.

All in all, I loved the finished look, and would absolutely get it done again.

The treatment costs €75 in The Loft South William Street.
