What better way to kick start the weekend than with some free food?
And starting tomorrow, Heniz are launching a Seriously Summer picnic series taking to 10 locations all around Ireland and dishing out free sambos at lunchtime.
The first stop on their tour is Merrion Square in Dublin where they will be perched from 12:30pm – 3pm with 400 sandwiches for the first to get there. Deee-lish.
Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise is hosting this series of nationwide picnics in advance of its inaugural appearance at Taste Of Dublin. Taking to the road from tomorrow until June 8, Heniz Seriously Summer picnic series will be popping up almost everywhere, so these are the locations and dates to see if you can nab yourself some free lunch.
Dublin, Merrion Square – 18th May
Limerick, People’s Park – 23rd May
Cork, Cobh Promenade – 24th May
Dublin, Herbert Park – 25th of May
Wicklow, Bray Promenade – 30th May
Kerry, Listowel – 31st May
Dublin, Bushy Park – 1st June
Limerick, Arthur’s Quay Park – 2nd June
Kerry, Dingle Town Park – 7th June
Dublin, St Anne’s Park – 8th June
Each picnic will have plenty of entertainment too with tunes, food and hopefully sunshine. The final picnic will then be over the course of four days at Taste of Dublin. Heinz will be working with The Gourmet Food Parlour on some exciting variations of the humble chip to go with their [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise. A selection of complementary rustic, sweet potato, courgette and beetroot fries will be on offer along with some mini beef sliders. This sounds like utter #heaven.
