This is when the Cadbury Oreo Eggs will be coming to Ireland

Finally, we know for sure!

Laura Holland

Get ready for some chocolatey goodness.

Earlier this week, we heard about an Oreo “Creme Egg”. Photos surfaced online from Canada of the delicious looking eggs. Cadbury and Oreo in the shape of an egg, what’s not to like?

We reached out to Cadbury for confirmation about whether or not they would be coming to Ireland and also to clarify if they actually are a Creme Egg with Oreo flavour.

In short, no they’re not.

They are still shaped like an egg but they have a completely different filling made up of Oreo. But all hope is not lost – they still sound absolutely delicious and will be available later this month – hurrah!

They’re closer to the Egg ‘n’ Spoon variety of Cadbury products with a mousse centre.

Here is what Cadbury has to say:

“We are always innovating our product ranges and there are lots of exciting things to come from the Cadbury brand this year and beyond.

As part of our Easter range this year we have launched new Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon Oreo, which will be available alongside our existing Oreo Easter products including the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Shell Egg and the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Easter Egg Sharing Bag.

There are no plans to change the packaging of Cadbury Creme Eggs.”
