Unless you decided to crawl under a rock last night or took a break from social media, you’ll know that One Direction cancelled their Belfast gig.
But while Liam Payne was said to be the reason behind the decision, it seems there may be more to the story than meets the eye.
When showbiz reporter Dan Wootton tweeted out the news, broadcaster Stephen Nolan revealed that he had been told that Niall Horan was sick earlier in the day.
Hmm, interesting…
. @danwootton I was scheduled to interview Niall at 530pm in Belfast and I was told he had to pull out because he was sick.

And they weren’t the only ones talking about the decision. Eamonn Holmes took to Twitter to say that he thought the other members should have apologised to fans in person.
I don’t care who was sick in #OneDirection Direction. Rest of them should have had the decency & maturity to appear on stage and explain. — Eamonn Holmes (@EamonnHolmes) October 20, 2015
For all of you who can’t read , I didn’t ask for #OneDirection to Sing , I asked for them to Apologise in person to fans who turned up.
