Jake Gyllenhaal is said to be inundating Dakota Johnson with messages in an effort to win her over.
According to Hollywood Life, Gyllenhaal dated the Fifty Shades star briefly in 2011 and is now desperate to get back together with her as his “crush on her never went away”.
The Nightcrawler actor recently split from co-star Ruth Wilson, while Johnson is understood to be single following the end of her relationship with musician Matthew Hitt.
The site claims that the 34-year-old is showering the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson with “flowers and sweet messages” in the hope of getting a second chance.
