Sometimes it’s just easier to plug your headphones in and chill out for the duration of the journey.
However, performing artist and culinary school student, Bettina Banayan decided to try something different.
She brought a cake with her on the subway and proceeded to ice it which proved a talking point with her fellow passengers.
Before long, people are chatting and laughing over cake and Bettina’s goal of getting people to be more ‘personable’ with each other seems to be well underway.
