The ‘Leave’ camps Brexit plan of action following result is shocking

Her

Shocking but it won’t surprise some.

By a margin of 51.9% to 48.1%, the people of the United Kingdom supported the motion to withdraw from the EU.

The backlash of the result has been immediate. On Friday, British Sterling hit its lowest value in 31 years, with Britain dropping to the world’s fifth biggest economy as a result.

Today, the Brexit fallout continues as the value of pound plummets a further 2% as trading reopen, adding to the record-breaking one-day decline.

Japan and Chinese officials warned of emerging threats to global economy in Brexit hangover as Asian markets struggle to recoup heavy losses on Monday.

The Irish stock markets also took a beating, falling by as much as 13%.

Hours after the result, Nigel Farage said the ‘Vote Leave’ camp’s £350m NHS promise – one of the biggest pledges of the campaign – a “mistake” on live TV.

So what plan of action do the ‘Leave’ camp have after what some of the supporting media outlets deemed a “glorious victory”?

Nothing, because there is no plan.

Yesterday, Sky News political editor Faisal Islam relayed a conversation he had with a Tory MP during a live broadcast.

Faisal revealed his complete dismay at the reply he received after asking the MP, “so where’s the plan, can we see the Brexit plan now?”.

Faisal quoted the MP’s response:

“‘There is no plan. The leave campaign don’t have a post-Brexit plan’.

He continued:

“And he was pointing to over there where the Vote Leave HQ was, and then he pointed over there and he said ‘Number 10 should have had a plan’.

“Now it sounds like I’m making that up. That literally happened two hours ago.”
