A body has been found in the search for a missing five-year-old boy in Co. Mayo.
Gardaí and the Irish Coast Guard recovered the body from Lough Mask, near Toormakeady, in the early hours of this morning.
The boy is understood to have fallen from a dinghy that drifted from the shore yesterday evening. The alarm was raised shortly after.
Gardaí are requesting privacy for the boy’s family during this difficult time.
