The top 10 biggest selling Christmas songs have been revealed

Can you guess number 1?

It’s less than a month until the biggest day of the year.

Every year, it’s easy to get bogged down with the same Christmas songs playing over and over at parties or on the radio.

Everyone has their own personal favourite that they can’t go a year without, and sometimes it can get annoying when your personal favourite gets ignored in favour of the more obvious songs.

If you’re arguing with friends or family about which song truly is the best, rest assured that HelloGiggleshave compiled data into a list which shows the best selling Christmas songs – so we can figure out which TRULY is the greatest Christmas song of all.

By using Nielsen Music data, (data which reports information of sales, and also tracks digital sales – all the way back since 2003), a list was compiled of the 10 biggest selling and most downloaded songs of the last 13 years.

The list goes as follows:

10. Wham – Last Christmas

9. Bobby Helms – Jingle Bell Rock

8. Jose Feliciano – Feliz Navidad

7. Faith Hill – Where Are You Christmas

6. Trans-Siberian Orchestra – Christmas Canon

5. Brenda Lee – Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree

4. Justin Bieber – Mistletoe

3. Trans-Siberian Orchestra – Christmas Eve

2. Frozen – Do You Want To Build A Snowman

… Can you guess what number one is?

It is of course, Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You. The song currently holds 3.2 million downloads, so by the looks of things, it won’t be knocked off the top of this chart any time soon.
