Frozen fans will be chuffed to learn that Idina Menzel is to sing Let It Go at the 86th Academy Awards.
According to CNN, Menzel will take to the stage on the night to sing Let It Go which is also competing in the best original song category.
Written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the single will be up against Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, The Moon Song from Her, and Pharrell’s Happy from Despicable Me 2.
On the Billboard 200 chart, the Frozen soundtrack managed to move Beyoncé from the No. 1 spot in early January.
Frozen has made $368.6 million globally so far and if you haven’t watched the tale of two sisters separated by icy magic then you need to see it immediately.
