When it comes to teasing, Damien Rice now takes the crown…

Earlier in the month, the Kildare native announced details of his third studio album My Favourite Faded Fantasy along with a snippet of the first track to whet the appetite of music lovers everywhere.

Today the singer released a new song in full onto his Soundcloud page accompanied by a yet another teaser clip on YouTube.

The 40-year-old, who is set to headline Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on November 3rd, uploaded track ‘I Don’t Want To Change You’ much to the delight of fans.

The eagerly anticipated forthcoming album was co-produced by the highly esteemed Rick Rubin, founder of Def Jam Records, who is responsible for many of the greatest career comeback albums and has produced numerous platinum-selling and award winning records.

Rice released his debut album O in 2002; a masterpiece that included hits such as 9 Crimes, Blower’s Daughter and Cannonball. He followed that up with the brilliant 9 in 2006 and has remained behind the music scene in recent years.

My Favourite Faded Fantasy will be released globally on October 31st and is available to pre-order on iTunes now.
