These mouthwatering chocolatinis taste as good as they look

Introducing the chocolatini, aka. the perfect combination of alcohol and chocolate.

1. Lily O’Brien’s Mint Chocolate and Basil Chocolatini

The much-loved Irish brand recently launched seven new bars, along with a delicious recipe for a mint and basil chocolatini.

To make one you’ll need:

  • 40ml vodka
  • 
20ml espresso
  • 20ml Lily O’Brien’s mint and basil chocolate, melted
  • 
10g chocolate, for garnish
  • ice cubes

Method:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Pour in the vodka, espresso and melted Lily O’Brien’s mint and basil chocolate into the shaker.
  3. Cover and shake well.
  4. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with grated chocolate.
  5. Enjoy!

 

2. Baileys Chocolatini

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Baileys is for life, not just for Christmas.

Inspired by the recent launch of the new dairy-free Baileys Almande, here’s the recipe for the original Irish chocolatini.

To make one you’ll need:

  • 2 oz Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 25 oz Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka
  • 25 oz Godiva Chocolate

Method:

  • Combine Baileys, vodka, chocolate liquer and ice in a shaker
  • Strain into a martini glass
  • Enjoy!
