We all try to put our best foot forward when it comes to dating but it seems that one of the country’s most popular pastimes could be sabotaging our chances of finding ‘the one’.
A new study of 60,000 Irish singles carried out by online dating website EliteSingles.ie has revealed the nation’s sexiest and unsexiest hobbies… and the results are very surprising.
It seems that Gaelic football, soccer and equestrian sports are a major turn-off for most singles, with all placing in the bottom five.
On the upside, travelling, cinema, fine dining and fitness were all seen as attractive interests, alongside pursuits like hiking and photography.
Hmmm…. while we won’t deny that an adventurous spirit is definitely a plus when it comes to a potential date, we certainly wouldn’t be saying no to a strapping lad in GAA jersey either!
