Sweet, we couldn’t think of anything better to print.

Dublin Airport is about to welcome the world’s first 3D gummy candy printing machine.

From April, the Candy Cloud store at The Loop in Terminal 1 will have a 3D Gummy Candy Machine which will allow travellers to create their own sweets and watch them being made in front of them.

Dublin is the first airport in the world, and first retailer in Europe, to welcome the next generation of 3D food printing.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Christine McNamara, Confectionery Buyer for The Loop, said, “We are thrilled to bring the Magic Candy Factory to Candy Cloud in Terminal 1. Designing your own sweets and seeing them being made in a matter of minutes offers something new and exciting for all our passengers that they can’t get anywhere else in Europe”.

Although it’s launching in April, there will be a pop-up store at The Loop at Dublin Airport until March 27th offering travellers a preview of the wonders of 3D food printing.
