Garlic is life.
It makes any savoury meal even better, and when you think you haven’t added enough, you should just go on and add another clove.
There is one thing about garlic that is not ideal, and that is the lingering smell that remains after you’ve been chopping the stuff to throw in your stir fry/pasta/literally anything.
Garlic fingers are no fun, but there’s a scientifically proven tip that can help get rid of this pesky problem, and the solution is in every kitchen.
You simply rub your fingers on stainless steel, be that your sink or a pot or pan.
Science is on our side with this one too.
The Huffington Post reported: “When you touch stainless steel, the molecules in the steel bind with the sulfur molecules on your hands, thus transferring the molecules (along with the smell) to the metal and off from your hands.”
Apparently this tip works just as well with onions and fish odours too.
