F I N A L L Y.
We all love Maura.
She’s funny, she’s smart, she’s the feminist icon we need and deserve.
She’s also an absolute ride who should have her legs wrapped around whomever’s head she so pleases.
Alas, she has not because everybody in the villa is either unavailable, not into her, or simply boring as fuck.
Or, indeed, Curtis – who appears to be available, into her, and not that boring – and yet very little has happened between the two.
This is mainly because Curtis, ever the gentleman, has decided he’s not going to do anything with either Maura or Francesca until he can decide who he wants to crack on with.
A decision that Maura is going to finally force him into making tonight.
“I’m going to have to talk to Curtis and tell him that I want a decision. I’m not waiting any longer,” she tells Anna tonight.
“He knows you enough to know if he just wants to get to know you and only you,” says Anna. Maura then tells her: “I’m done waiting.”
Later that evening, the pair head to the terrace for a chat. Maura tells Curtis: “You’ve got a decision to make. You’ve had a long time.”
Curtis then replies: “I’ve felt myself being drawn closer and closer to you.
“You look absolutely gorgeous. There are so many reasons why I would want to move things forward with you.”
… So basically you’re telling her that you’ve chosen her, yeah?
Surely, Curtis. Surely.
This comes after Curtis decided to sleep out in the day bed so he wouldn’t make Maura uncomfortable by sleeping with his arm around Francesca.
Francesca was seemingly fine with the whole situation, which would indeed suggest that she isn’t really that into Curtis at all and simply wants a free holiday and a few more Instagram followers.
Can’t blame her.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
