It’s still a few months away, but the casting process for winter Love Island has already begun.

A little more than a week after it was reported ITV2 were looking for “twins, goth girls, and Essex lads” for the new season, new details about Love Island producers are looking for have been revealed.

The Sun report producers have put out a casting call to agents and talent-spotters, asking them to put any possible future Islanders who fit the bill forward for auditions.

Among the requests for the winter season?

Love Island bosses are said to be after someone who is related to royalty, a “rock chick”, male “surfer dude” and a girl with tattoos. They are also reported to be looking fro a male virgin and a female stripper.

An eclectic mix, for sure.

The official casting call says that ITV2 is looking for “vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the winter sun, in search of love.

“The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.”

The casting process is also already open – just in case you’re thinking of applying.

ITV2 confirmed earlier this summer that Love Island would be returning for two series’ in 2020.

And with winter Love Island said to be kicking off in South Africa in January, it won’t be much longer until we’re having countless conversations about recoupling, kicking off, getting mugged off, and not putting all of your eggs in one basket.
