Love Actually is returning to cinemas for its 20th anniversary

Love Actually

“There was more than one lobster present at the birth of Jesus?”

Watching Love Actually at Christmas time is a tradition we follow every single year.

It is one of the best Christmas movies and we somehow never get tired of it.

Curling up with a tub of Roses, a giant glass of wine, and your comfiest pyjamas and watching ‘Love Actually’ is one of our Christmas highlights.

Seeing Hugh Grant shimmy around 10. Downing Street, Sarah yearning over Karl and Emma Thompson sob to that Joni Mitchell song is everything.

There are so many iconic scenes, our favourite being the Rowan Atkinson one obviously, which makes it so easy to watch.

If you feel like enhancing your yearly ‘Love Actually’ rewatch then you can enjoy the iconic rom-com on the big screen.

To mark the film’s 20th anniversary, cinemas will be screening the film throughout the Christmas season.

As excited as we are to watch the movie on the big screen, we can’t quite believe it is turning twenty years old.

Is anyone else feeling ancient now?

If you’ve never had the joy of watching the Christmas classic then you’re in for a real treat because we’d love to watch the movie for the first time again.

The synopsis reads:

‘Eight London couples try to deal with their relationships in different ways. Their tryst with love makes them discover how complicated relationships can be.’

‘Love Actually’ will be screened in cinemas nationwide from November 24th.

If you see me sobbing into my popcorn over the Joni Mitchell scene then just turn the other way.
