Patrick Kielty will host his first Toy Show on Friday night
Ryan Tubridy has sent Patrick Kielty a sweet message ahead of the comedian’s first ‘Late Late Toy Show’.
The presenter reflected on the 14 years he presented the show on Q102.
Ryan said Kielty is perfectly capable of capturing the ‘Toy Show’ magic and knows he will do an incredible job.
Tubridy said he feels incredibly lucky that he got to present the ‘Toy Show’ for over a decade.
He said it was one of the greatest parts of his role as ‘Late Late Show’ host.
He told Q102 listeners: “I feel so happy that I had 14 beautiful years doing it.”
Tubridy said: “I loved every single Toy Show I did. I feel so happy that I was able to pass it on and say it’s somebody else’s now.”
He said the show is in great hands with Patrick Kielty at the helm.
Tubridy then added: “There is a wonderful bunch of people working on that show. I wish them all only the best, and Paddy, good luck in this first, it’s a big gig, and he’ll be well able for it.”
The former RTE presenter said he left the ‘Late Late Show’ at the right time and said he won’t miss it.
The theme for this year’s ‘Toy Show’ has not yet been revealed, but many fans believe it could be superhero-themed after Kielty mentioned it multiple times in his call for ‘Toy Show’ stars.
The presenter will host his very first Toy Show on Friday, November 23rd at 9.35 pm.
