Here’s The REAL Reason A ‘Friends’ Movie Will Not Be Happening…

We’ve been hoping and praying since the iconic purple door closed over ten years ago that our favourite sitcom would be immortalised on the big screen, but alas it seems as though a Friends reunion really is not on the cards. “Let it go! We’re not doing it! It’s just not going to happen,” revealed Courteney Cox in an interview with I Yahoo’d Myself this week. Courteney played Monica in 'Friends'. She added that there is also always one person ‘who flakes’ when the cast have tried to get together so a movie would be impossible. “We’ve gotten about 80 per cent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end." “I’m not going to name names, but it may not be [David] Schwimmer,” she added, before suggesting that a movie about Monica will be made instead. “Monica is going to do a movie!” she joked. “It’s going to be called Hanging With Monica!” David Schwimmer with his wife Zoe Buckman and their daughter Cleo.
