Dirty Dancing Actress Jennifer Grey Has Revealed a Very Surprising Fact About THAT Lift

We've all attempted (and spectacularly failed) to achieve THAT iconic Dirty Dancing lift... But for some reason, our post-vodka endeavours are never quite as elegant as Jennifer Grey aka Baby's in the 1987 classic. We blame the fact that we've had no practise, but turns out that's not an excuse, as the lady herself recently spoke out about the brave move, revealing that she had no rehearsal at all before filming. *Shudder* Jennifer admitted to The Guardian: "I only did it on the day I shot it. "Never rehearsed it, never done it since." Jennifer is currently promoting her upcoming film Red Oaks. She added: "I don't know how all these people who reenact it have the guts to throw themselves into the arms of anyone other than Patrick Swayze. It's insane!"
