Oh my.
Last night’s Late Late Toy Show was special for a lot of reasons – the ‘Under The Sea’ theme, the emotional family reunion, the child who loved fossils.
Most years, an impressive celebrity guest drops in to surprise a young fan but last night we had a visit from a number of the All Ireland-winning Galway hurlers instead and let’s just say no-one was complaining.
Captain David Burke and four other team members made nine-year-old Daniel Brogan’s day when they joined him on stage with the Liam McCarthy.
Daniel was absolutely delighted with the lads, who gave him a season ticket for his family, a Galway kit, a sliotair and hurl and an invitation to join them at a training session in the New Year.
They also left a lasting impression on many of us watching at home.
How come I never noticed during the summer how hot the Galway hurlers were?? ??? #LateLateToyShow
