‘She is trying to distance herself’: Apparently Dua Lipa and Rita Ora have fallen out

In news that probably won't have a major impact on your life (full disclosure), Dua Lipa and Rita Ora are reportedly no longer friends. The pair actually have more in common than you might think - they're both Kosovan immigrants who grew up in the UK and even attended the same stage school. But they've apparently had a falling out that led to them avoiding one another at Monday night's Met Gala in New York City. A source close to Rita told The Sun that though Dua has looked up to the older singer in the past she has grown fed up of being compared to her.

"It’s a shame, as they used to be very close and Dua spoke a lot about how much she admired Rita. Dua even said she wanted to be just like Rita in the future," the insider said.

"Now things have gone south dramatically and she is trying to distance herself — and she’s making no secret of it in the industry. Rita is desperate to avoid confrontation and went out of her way to make sure they didn’t come face to face. “She hates the drama but really wanted to go to the Met Gala and didn’t want a row to stop that."

Rita attended the event with friends Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs while Dua went with her boyfriend Isaac Carew. Why can't everyone just get along?
