Seventh Heaven was a landmark programme of its time, essentially Sunday viewing for pretty much every Irish family.
Though the memory of the once-beloved show has been sorely tainted in recent months, the fictional Camden family at the time were benchmarks of a tight-knit family who could weather any storm once they had each other.
Much of the comic relief and cuteness factor in the early years of the series came from the youngest children of the clan at that time – Simon and Ruthie.

Today, David Gallagher, the actor who played Simon on the show, turns 30 years of age.
