Miley Cyrus reveals she fell in love with Liam Hemsworth when filming ‘The Last Song’

Miley Cyrus has been keeping many of us entertained over the last few weeks with her 'Used to Be Young' TikTok series.

The series coincides with her latest single of the same name and takes us down memory lane to some of the biggest moments of Miley's career to date. Last week, the singer posted a video addressing her 10-year relationship with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. In the clip, Miley holds up the movie poster photo of her and Liam starring in The Last Song. She spoke about how she had to work with Disney on one final project and was allowed to cast someone to play her boyfriend Will, and she ultimately chose Liam.

"We had gotten it down from thousands to the final three. Liam was a part of the final three,” she shared. "We all know how that ended!"

As she looked back on the footage, Miley said she thought it was "so special" as she was watching herself fall in love with Liam in real-time.

"I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special was it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other, which was happening in real life and in real-time," she said. "So, the chemistry was undeniable and that was the beginning of a long 10-year relationship."
