Jamie Dornan has admitted to ‘stalking’ a woman when he was getting into character for his role in ‘The Fall’.

The Irish actor acknowledged that what he did was wrong, but said he was just getting into character.

He admitted that he followed a woman off the tube for a brief period.

He was getting into character after he was cast as Paul Spector in ‘The Fall’.

The actor said he followed the woman off the train and around a couple of street corners.

However, she quickly caught on to what he was doing and confronted him.

He told the LA Times: “I followed her around a couple of street corners and then was like: ‘What are you doing?’.”

“I’m sort of not proud of myself. But I do honestly think I learned something from it because I’ve obviously never done any of that.

“It was intriguing and interesting to enter that process of ‘what are you following her for?’ and ‘what are you trying to find out?’” he said.

Dornan recently returned to the screen in season two of ‘The Tourist’, which has received rave reviews.

Viewers have been praising the actor’s performance in the tense BBC series with many claiming it’s one of the best roles since ‘The Fall’.
