How to achieve the perfect folklore-inspired hairstyle for the Eras Tour

Kat O'Connor

Dublin is finally ready for the Eras Tour

If you’re lucky enough to be heading to the Eras Tour this weekend then there’s no doubt you’ll have the time of your life.

Fans have been busy preparing their costumes, making their friendship bracelets and, painting 13s on their hands but if, like me, you’ve left it until the last minute then fear not.

If you fell in love with Taylor’s music during the folklore era then this hairstyle is perfect for you.

If you want to opt for a more subtle look at the concern then this laid-back indie style is ideal.

Taylor embraced a more natural, laid-back aesthetic, often styled in loose braids or braided buns—fitting the albums’ introspective and storytelling themes.

To mirror the singer’s folklore vibe then wash your hair thoroughly and blowdry it.

Using the Concentrator attachment of the Dyson SupersonicTM hairdryer to part your hair down the middle to create two equal sections.

Begin braiding each section of hair into a classic three-strand braid.

Secure the ends of the braids with small elastic bands. Take one braided section and twist it around itself to form a bun.

Secure the bun in place with bobby pins. Repeat with the other braided section.

Gently pull on the sides of each bun to loosen them slightly and create a more relaxed, bohemian look.

Finish the style with a light mist of hairspray to hold everything in place and add shine.

Use the Dyson SupersonicTM hair dryer with the Dyson SupersonicTM Flyaway Smoother attachment to smooth down any remaining frizz or stray hairs.

And most importantly, pop in some glitter to really embrace the Eras Tour vibe.
