Kylie Jenner’s fans are not impressed.
As part of the star’s 2017 Holiday collection, the 20-year-old has released a collection of 16 brushes which she is selling for a staggering $360 (€305). Yikes.
And this news did not go down well with young fans of the reality star who were hoping to purchase this collection (or even part thereof) for Christmas.
Fans were soon to comment their anger on the price last week with one fan saying: “That price point is ridiculous. This isn’t even a luxury brand.”
While another wrote: “In all honesty, how do you expect fans to pay for this when the majority of them are 14-years-old? Come on Kylie!”
These comments are just a snippet of the thousands that were flooding Kylie’s social media channels, as outraged fans looked for a price reduction or even a cheaper set in time for Christmas.
Since then Kylie has responded explaining the reason for the cost in a series of tweets.
I have developed for you guys the most amazing luxury brushes ever. I am very excited! Real brushes don’t compare to synthetic brushes. Different performance/quality/everything. I am 100% down to do an entire synthetic line in the future which will ultimately be cheaper.

Hmmmm. We wonder will there be a mark down on the price before they go on sale this December 13, 2017. Who knows.
