If there’s a man who likes to stir the pot, it’s Brian McFadden.
The former Westlife singer has weighed in on the news that Victoria Beckham won’t be joining the Spice Girls when they reunite in 2019.
Posh today confirmed in a statement that she won’t be part of the reunion and wished her former bandmates “so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.”
In response to the news, Brian joked in a tweet that he and Victoria were heading away together next summer.
Me and Victoria going on holidays together to Magaluf next June. Apologies for our absence. X

Standard.
It comes weeks after both Brian and the members of Westlife both denied that there was a rift between them.
The band last month announced a comeback tour without Brian, who walked away from the group in 2004, for the summer of 2019.
The news prompted speculation that they’d fallen out but the boys told 2fm’s Jenny Greene that there was no bad blood.
“We never fell out with Brian and none of those things but we did nine and a half years without him.
“We genuinely have no ill-feelings towards Brian and sometimes press and stuff, and all of these stories don’t help the relationship because there is no ill-feeling from either way.”
For his part, Brian congratulated Westlife when their tour was announced and said he had “nothing but admiration for the lads”.
Wishing the boys the best of luck with the tour. 20 years at the top is an incredible achievement. I had a wonderful six years with the boys but I have nothing but admiration for the lads working their asses off for this long! Long may it continue boys. Flying the flag X https://t.co/7VhEoxnAza
