Were you watching?
Channel 4’s most recent series, Derry Girls, has won viewers over for a second week in a row. The show, which follows a group of Derry students in the 1990s, has been receiving high praise.
Last night the second episode aired and saw the group trying to find a way to get money for a Paris school trip. Nothing is ever that easy which the group slowly learn, leaving viewers in stitches along the way.
Before last night’s show even aired the Director of Programmes for Channel 4, Ian Katz, said that they had commisioned the show for a second series because they loved it so much.
We love Lisa McGee’s #DerryGirls so much we recommissioned it today after just one episode. If you haven’t seen it find out why at 10pm, C4

I’ve never quite enjoyed a TV show as much as #DerryGirls. Lisa McGee is a genius.

Dead God but #DerryGirls ep 2 was even more hilarious than ep 1. A belly laugh roughly every 15 seconds, UNREAL ?????????
