The past is coming back to haunt her.
Yesterday, Gigi Hadid announced that she will be walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, taking place in China in November.
However, a video posted by Gigi’s sister Bella is coming back to haunt the model.
At the beginning of the year, Bella shared a clip on Snapchat of her sister mimicking a Chinese Buddha cookie.
The now-deleted video caused major controversy online, with many people accusing the model of being racist towards Asian people.
And now, since the Vogue cover model revealed she’ll be taking part in the years show, the backlash on social media has started back up again:
