Nick Cannon has spoken out about his relationship with Mariah Carey via social networking site Twitter, amid reports that Carey has begun filing for divorce.
The America’s Got Talent host has been married to the record-breaking singer since 2008 and the pair are parents to three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Last month Cannon was quoted as saying there was “trouble in paradise” but now the TV host has come out to deny the story.
Cannon and Carey have not been seen in public together for a number of months and were also said to be living in separate houses.
E! now reports that Mariah has begun divorce proceedings against her husband.
I have personally been absent from social media for the past few months for obvious reasons but I feel the need to finally speak up…

I will always love her unconditionally for this and so much more. @MariahCarey is an amazing Mother and I trust her wholeheartedly… — Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) September 3, 2014
So to see false reports in the media stating otherwise is absurd! While I would like to remain silent I can no longer allow this to happen.

If the media wants to portray me as the Bad guy that’s fine…
