Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh have recreated the iconic ‘bed-in’ photo of John Lennon and Yoko Ono for international charity War Child.
John and Yoko staged two week long ‘bed-ins’ as part of a peace campaign in 1969. The couple were protesting against the Vietnam War, one ‘bed-in’ took place in Amsterdam following their wedding and the other was in Montreal.
Former Made in Chelsea star Millie and Pro Green have lent their support to the River Island x War Child campaign and have posed in the t-shirts designed by River Island to mark the initiative.
The T-shirt is an exact replica of one John Lennon wore to the Cannes Film Festival in 1971 and features an original 1969 design by Arnie Goodman and Rob Rose.

Worn Free own the rights to the design but have gifted it to War Child and River Island for this collaboration.
Ben Knowles, director of fundraising at War Child said “The photograph of John and Yoko and the morals that the couple stood for are representative of the values that we continue to have today at War Child”.
The t-shirts, priced at £18 (€22) and £8 (€10) for children, go on sale at selected River Island stores and online from tomorrow, with all profits going directly to War Child.
