The Republic of Ireland take on Nigeria in the Fifa Women’s World Cup on Monday morning (11am Irish time).

Vera Pauw’s team, in their third and final appearance at the finals, take on the Nigerians in Brisbane, with points and pride to play for. You can follow the match live in our hub below, where we will have updates about team news, big talking points and player ratings.

All you need to know on the Ireland Nigeria game

Going into the Ireland Nigeria game, Vera Pauw’s side have already come to terms with being eliminated from the World Cup. They pushed Australia and Canada to the brink in their first two games but lost 1-0 and 2-1.

Nigeria drew 0-0 with Canada in their opener, then stunned hosts Australia 3-2 in their next outing. They will be looking to top the group with a win over Ireland, in Brisbane.

In Ireland, RTÉ will have live coverage of the Fifa Women’s World Cup, with all 64 games due to be shown by the broadcaster. The match kicks off at 11am on Monday morning, with coverage beginning at 10am on RTÉ 2. The same channel will also show highlights of the game at 8pm, on Monday evening.

You will also be able to stream the game live on the RTÉ Player.

In the UK, BBC 2 is focusing on the Canada vs. Australia game but will check in on Ireland Nigeria as the matches progresses.
