Eddie Hearn has no doubts that Katie would sell out Croke Park!

Talks are reportedly underway with representatives from the Aviva and Croke Park as potential venues are explored for a Katie Taylor stadium fight in Dublin.

The event would allegedly take place as soon as next summer, and Taylor has her eyes set on the Drumcondra venue.

Due to past issues with Croke Park, the Lansdowne Road venue is also top of their list of considerations for the huge event in 2024.

Speaking after Michael Conlan’s defeat to Jordan Gill on Saturday, Eddie Hearn confirmed that the two-weight undisputed champion’s next fight “will be outdoors”.

He also confirmed that all options are being explored for it at the moment.

Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing have said they are hopeful that a deal can be done in the coming months.

“Obviously now all the efforts is towards Katie’s next fight, which will be outdoors, but where it will be (remains to be seen),” he said.

“We have started talking to the Aviva as well. Obviously our dream is to do it at Croke Park, her dream as well.

“We have opened those talks now so we’ll see where they get to.”

Hearn went on to say that he believes Katie would sell out Croke Park and that the event will most likely to take place between May and July.
