What a lovely gesture!
Ed Sheeran has made a sweet promise to Katie Taylor following her victory over Chantelle Cameron.
Last night (November 25th) at the 3Arena in Dublin, the Bray native reclaimed her title as the undisputed world super-lightweight champion.
Taylor’s team are hoping to secure a fight for the 37-year-old in Croke Park – possibly either a third fight with Chantelle Cameron or a rematch with Amanda Serrano.

The Irish Mirror reports that, if successful, Ed Sheeran has promised to sing the Irish boxer out at the GAA’s headquarters.
“Ed Sheeran said he would sing her out genuinely,” promoter Eddie Hearn revealed.
Speaking on the topic of fighting at Croke Park, Taylor admitted: ‘It would be amazing’.
“80,000 people and a most iconic stadium that’s what we have been looking for really over the past year,” the Bray boxer admitted.
“It has been amazing to fight here in the 3Arena but Croke Park would be iconic.”

Ed, who was in attendance to see Taylor avenge her defeat to Cameron from earlier in the year, visited her in her dressing room after her triumph.
Whilst she sat resting after her win, the ‘Shape Of You’ singer couldn’t resist giving her a hug while congratulating her.
