Kevin Moran of Mulranny, Mayo has sadly passed away in Australia following a fatal road accident.
Kevin, who was well known in his home village, was an underage rugby star with Connacht and was a key player for Westport Bulls.
According to Mayo News, reports of Kevin’s death circulated in the village yesterday, with one local saying that the passing of Mr Moran was ‘devastating’ for the tight-knit community.
Kevin, who was in his early thirties also played soccer with the Achill Rovers for a number of seasons. They took to Facebook to express their condolences.
