An escaped prisoner, who became pretty famous in Ireland after making a speedy exit from a prison van outside a chipper, has been found.
Lee McDonnell, who had been on the run for the last month, is now back behind bars.
McDonnell, who was described as “violent and unpredictable”, escaped from the prison van in Dublin when the van stopped at Macari’s chipper in Inchicore.
According to The Mirror, McDonnell was found over the weekend in Clondalkin and was later transferred back to Portlaoise Prison.
