We all know that concerts can get rowdy, but where’s the excuse for this?
This is not what you expect after having paid money to see somebody perform.
Frontman of California punk band The Story So Far, Parker Cannon kicked a young female fan who was trying to take a selfie with the band onstage.
If you watch the footage of the Toronto gig, uploaded to YouTube, at the 30 second mark you see Cannon very forcefully kick the young woman off the stage.
Of course, it is understandable that you may not take kindly to stage invaders hampering your performance, but to tackle the problem in this way is just disgusting.
To assault someone at a concert creates an atmosphere where this kind of behaviour and infliction of violence, particularly from a man against a woman, is tolerated and accepted.
Although some people are defending Cannon, many are disgusted at the behaviour of a grown man, acting so horribly towards a young fan of his band.
It’s not even really because she’s a girl. The concept of a grown ass man assaulting a teen is disgusting, you all do see that right #TSSF ?
