Over the past year, we have invited some of the best Irish and international acts to play for us at The Sunday Sessions and you have tuned in in your droves.

From our debut video with George Ezra through to performances from James Bay, Villagers and Vance Joy, we have been lucky enough to host the most exciting global breakthrough acts and racked up over 1.3m views on our Sunday Sessions YouTube channel.

However, at the heart of the Sunday Sessions is a passion for showcasing rising Irish talent and we’ve been delighted to play some small role in introducing you to acts including Wyvern Lingo, Little Hours and Gavin James.

Now, we want you to be part of the live experience and join us at Whelan’s Live for a night of celebrating great Irish music.

You can apply for FREE tickets for you and a friend here and we will be joined on the night by…

The Academic – this group of school friends from Mullingar has been garnering some serious attention over the past year or two and recently played to a packed crowd at their headline gig at The Workman’s Club. From performing at Sea Sessions to supporting Kodaline at Live At The Marquee, these guys are going to be BIG.

Little Hours – it’s no secret that we have a lot of love for this Donegal duo who snagged a Best Song nomination at this year’s Meteor Choice Awards for their brilliant track It’s Still Love. They’ve just released new single Tired and we absolutely had to have them on the bill.

David Keenan – a bone fide YouTube sensation, David went viral after performing in the back of Maxi’s Taxi (come on the town!) and his performance of catchy single El Paso for Sunday Sessions has received over 23,000 views. He’s definitely one to watch.

Tickets are VERY limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis so get your application in – once they’re gone, they’re gone!
